Hassan Gindeh — professional bird and nature guide
Resident birder at the Senegambia office, Hassan has guided visiting naturalists, photographers, and conservationists across The Gambia for more than two decades.
Training & experience
I graduated from the Department of Wildlife Voluntary Service, where I received specialized training in bird guiding and wildlife management. Over the last 22+ years I have walked, paddled, and driven across mangroves, forests, savannas, wetlands, and river islands to help visitors enjoy The Gambia’s biodiversity. I am a certified wildlife guide and photographer, so you can expect steady optics support and ethical fieldcraft on every outing.
Guests frequently describe me as quiet, friendly, and patient. That demeanor means more time for observation, listening for calls, and crafting memorable sightings without pressure.
